Virtual Pub Quiz Trivia Night

Four Trivia Rounds

• General Knowledge - 10 questions on a variety of fun and interesting topics!
• Picture Round - a visual identification round!
• Music Round with a theme - listen to the song clips, and name the artists performing each. For a bonus point, identify the common theme among all the songs!
• Last Call for Know-It-Alls! - To round out the night, we finish with 10 more general knowledge questions—plus a tiebreaker question if needed to determine the winner!

Teams & Tickets

• Teams of 2–6 players work best (a few more are okay).
• Everyone needs a ticket — including spectators. Please purchase the ticket option that matches the number of participants in your household.
• IMPORTANT: Our events require a Zoom registration. When you checkout, please use an email address associated with a Zoom account. Please enter your trivia team name in the 'Comments' box at checkout. All players on the same team will be placed together in a shared Zoom breakout room.

How It Works

1. The Zoom link & handy event tools (such as the dashboard) will be emailed to you by 5 PM on event day.
2. We go live at 6:45 PM. When we open the breakout rooms, your team members join, and the quiz starts at 7 PM.
3. Our quizmaster hosts the game live, reading the questions and showing them on a fun slideshow. As your team brainstorms, the team captain submits your answers via the virtual team play card. We update scores after each round so you can track your progress throughout the night.
4. Trivia ends around 9 PM, and we announce our Trivia Champions!
5. Stay after for a social hangout in your breakout room. 

Prizes & Bragging Rights

Our Trivia Champions! earn the ultimate bragging rights, and the team with the 'perfectly average score' (the team whose final score is closest to the overall average score) wins FREE admission to our next Virtual Pub Quiz event! We’ve got giveaways, too:

• A vintage vinyl record copy of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon to one lucky individual
• Other cool Brainstormer Trivia swag items

Rules & Details

• No cheating — use your brains, not your tech, to come up with the answers!
• 1 Zoom-ready device per household (laptops recommended).
• No refunds unless we cancel.
• Ticket sales close 30 minutes before start time. Please register early — it really helps us to prepare for the event.
